A farm attack took place during the early hours of 5 November 2020, on a smallholding in Raasblaar Road, Kameeldrift East, near Roodeplaat, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. An elderly couple were attacked in their home by an unknown number of attackers, severely assaulted and then tied up and made to lie on the kitchen floor where they were covered with blankets.
First responders were met with a bloody scene and immediately gave medical attention to the couple who had also been severely traumatised.
The attackers then ransacked the home and fled the scene with valuables and the couples Toyota Fortuner. The vehicle was later recovered abandoned in Mamelodi.
Police are investigating the attack. There is no other information available at this stage. There have been no arrests.
