A farm attack took place on 2 October 2020, at 11:30, on a farm just outside Fochville, in the Gauteng province of South Africa. Seven attackers invaded the home and overpowered and assaulted a mom and four children. The attackers threatened to rape the young girls while demanding money and firearms.
Under pressure, the woman opened the safe and the attackers stole six firearms and fled the scene. There were no serious injuries but the children and mom have been severely traumatized.
The attackers arrived in two vehicles, a silver Toyota corolla and a white Ford ranger double cab bakkie with no registration plates. It has been reported that a white male was in one of the vehicles that dropped off some of the attackers. This is being investigated.
All role players responded and the police are investigating. There is no other information available at this stage.
