Five suspects are expected to appear in the Tsakane Magistrate’s Court on charges of illegal dealing and manufacturing of drugs on Monday, 23 November 2020.
Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation in Germiston followed up on intelligence regarding suspicious drug dealings in the industrial area of Labore Industrial Park in Geluksdal, Brakpan, east of Johannesburg.
Upon arrival at the identified premises, a search was conducted. The investigation team found the five suspects allegedly manufacturing drugs. The suspects aged between 30 and 46, including the female property owner, were immediately arrested and charged for illegal dealing and manufacturing of drugs.
Amongst other seized items was a drug pressing machine, chemicals and mandrax.
The investigation continues.
