On Saturday 30 March 2019, at about 20:15 the Drift Reaction cc control centre received a call from a client who reported suspects at the compound on her property. This is in the same road as the smallholding where the 18 year old boy was shot just a week ago.
Tactical Units reacted and on arrival met with workers who reported that they were sitting outside having a braai when two armed and aggressive suspects overpowered them.
The two demanded cell phones and cash and fled towards the veld. Teams searched as far as possible however the suspects were long gone. This might be the same gang who shot the 18 year old as descriptions are very similar.
