Quick police response in Gauteng led to recovery of the items stolen in Father Mkhatshwa Secondary School in Soshanguve. Two suspects found in possession of stolen property believed to be stolen in a school on the 18 January 2019, have been arrested.

Tshwane North Trio Task Team conducted an intelligence driven operation that led the members to Winterveld where two suspects were arrested. Police recovered laptops, projectors, cell phone and ipad which were later identified by the Father Mkhatshwa Secondary School principal that all the items were stolen from the school on the 18 January 2019.

Police are investigating the possibility that the suspects might have been involved in other schools’ break ins. The search for the other suspects who ran away when they saw the police continues. We appealing to members of the community who may have information on the suspect near police station or contact crime stop on 0860010111.

The arrested suspects will appear in Soshanguve Magistrates Court soon.
