Police were on the scene at Bosman Taxi Rank in Pretoria following a shooting incident on the morning of 11 December 2020, where five victims (two taxi operators and three commuters) have been injured and rushed to hospital for medical attention.
Information is still sketchy at this point but police can confirm that two unknown suspects arrived at the taxi rank, on foot and fired shots indiscriminately. No fatalities have been reported at this stage.
Police have launched a search for the suspects. We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or contact police at Pretoria Central SAPS on 012-3534233.
