After a farmer (74), MrJohn Parr, opened fire on five attackers in his home on a farm in Tweespruit, Free State province of South Africa at about 7:00 on the morning of 21 June 2020, one attacker managed to flee but has now been arrested in Lesotho. The farmer was defending himself and his family after they were overpowered by the attackers and the farmers elderly wife Pam and two teenage children had been forced to the floor at knife point.
The farmer killed two of the attackers and wounded one other. Another attacker was arrested soon afterwards in the area.
