The Provincial Organized Crime Investigation based in Phuthaditjhaba is looking for the suspect, in attached identikit, wanted for a farm attack and house robbery perpetrated on a farm in Ficksburg.
It’s alleged that on 18 July 2021 at about 19:40, the couple, both aged 52, was preparing to go to bed when they were suddenly accosted by three armed males who robbed them of an undisclosed amount of cash.
‘On 19 July 2021 it was reported that the attack took place on a farm in Tempelhof, 12 km from Ficksburg on the Rosendal road, in the Free State province of South Africa.’
‘The attackers armed with a firearm and pangas overpowered and assaulted a farmer Jasco Dinkelman and his wife Maria’.
‘The couple were assaulted, hacked with panga’s and stabbed’.
The victims were reportedly beaten and seriously injured and were taken to the local hospital for medical treatment.
The suspects took an axe before they fled the scene.
No suspects have been arrested thus far and the case is still under investigation.
