A farm attack took place on 18 July 2021, at 19:00, on a farm in Tempelhof, 12 km from Ficksburg on the Rosendal road, in the Free State province of South Africa. Four attackers armed with a firearm and pangas overpowered and assaulted a farmer Jasco Dinkelman and his wife Maria.
The couple were assaulted, hacked with panga’s and stabbed.
During the attack, the farmer was stabbed in the hand and neck and his wife was stabbed in the neck.
The couple were evacuated to a Bethlehem hospital for treatment and care.
All role players including local farmers responded to assist. The police are investigating but there have been no arrests.
