A farm attack took place on the morning of 3 March 2020, in Verkykerskop in the Karkloof district of the Free State province of South Africa. The town is situated 40 km from Harrismith. Three attackers overpowered a woman, tied her up and robbed firearms, phones and money.
Local farmers rallied in a well organised operation and tracked down and arrested two of the attackers, the third suspect is still being sought with the assistance of a private helicopter.
