The radical EFF alleged that the government’s ANC members had “organized” themselves to vote twice in the North West. The Malema group said in a statement they rejected the ANC’s actions with their supporters’ actions to vote for them and also to vote at a second polling station.
Mbuyiseni Ndlozi claims that one ANC councilor was caught having voted twice in Marikana at two separate venues.
Apparently, in the Eastern Cape, a similar incident where an ANC member voted twice, and now observers are worried that ANC supporters’ actions are far greater than could be established.
A political observer told The Vryburger that it is possible to vote twice by using ink remover to remove it from the finger and if the person registered elsewhere as voter, then a second vote could be done.
Several people who voted said they could remove the ink shortly after they voted to easily vote again.
