Rina Pretorius (86) from Coetzer Avenue, Reddersburg, Free State, South Africa was attacked on Tuesday morning June 9, 2015. She said two black men used a screwdriver to break the lock of the back door at her house.
They then cut a piece of wood from the door, pressed their hands through, grabbed the keys and unlocked it them self.
“The robbers surprised and overpowered me in my room with my own knife.”
Pretorius said it was just before 02:00.
“The two robbers stole the R750 I had with me, my phone and a bottle of champagne. They took my ATM card and pin number and ran off. It was later discovered that they withdrew R2 100 from my bank account.”
