An Inter Provincial “Operation Fiela” was conducted on the N6, in Aliwal North. SAPS members from the Free State and the Eastern Cape and different units together with the Provincial and local traffic, DEDEA, Fire and Rescue and Home Affairs participated under the command of Capt Kotze.
The focus were on the prevention of robbery, stock theft, road safety, human trafficking and illegal immigrants.
The successes were as follow: 23 traffic fines to the value of R 17 900-00 issued, 13 Foreigners were visited and J 534’s issued, 263 vehicles searched and 119 people searched.
The Cluster Commander Brig Xakavu commended all the members for their hard work, commitment and dedication and successes. Keep up with the good work! Let us tighten the space for the criminals in our area.
