SAPS Gelvandale detectives arrested an alleged murder suspect within hours after a man was fatally stabbed in Malabar early this morning, 01 April 2024.
It is alleged that at approximately 03:45, police responded to a complaint of a man that was stabbed near Saliehout Street, Extension 6, Malabar. Cannan Jacobs (35) sustained multiple stab wounds on the right side of his chest and abdomen.
At approximately 08:30, a 45-year-old suspect was arrested in Armstrong Street, Malabar, on the murder charge.
The suspect will appear in the magistrate court during the week
