A team of students from Crawford International recently took part in the Minecraft Stallion’s Cup, an esports competition that tested both technical skill and strategic thinking. Representing the school were Callum Chelin, Zilungile Mcilongo, Ronin Botha, and Kamva Swana, who demonstrated impressive teamwork and determination throughout the event.

In the time trials, the team delivered a strong performance, securing fifth place in a highly competitive field. Despite facing tough opponents, they embraced the challenge with resilience and maintained a strong sense of sportsmanship.

Beyond the competition itself, the students made the most of the experience by engaging with other teams and learning from their approaches. They remained at the event until the final moments, offering their support and congratulations to the winners, a reflection of their respect for the game and its community.
“The event was more than just a test of gameplay; it was an opportunity to develop teamwork, perseverance, and strategic thinking. Their performance and attitude made an impression, and the school takes pride in their achievements,” shares Tia Swanepoel eSports from Crawford International.
