WeChat Developer Challenge officially starts in Singapore, which is the first developers challenge for the service market held overseas by WeChat. At the event site, WeChat team released the latest data of overseas mini programs for the first time. By the end of July 2019, the number of overseas main mini programs increased by five times year on year, the weekly use times of mini program increased by 70%, and the overseas visits increased by 200%. Among them, the number of visits in southeast Asia accounted for 22% of the overseas visits.
