Ministry of Commerce: Annual Trade Volume Between China and Russia is Expected to Exceed 0 Billion

The spokesman of Ministry of Commerce Gao Feng revealed on December 12nd that total Sion-Russian trade volume in the first 11 months of 2019 reached $100.32 billion, a year-on-year growth of 3.1%. Annual bilateral trade volume can exceed $110 billion this year, if this growth rate is maintained. This will make a new record in the history.

In the first ten months this year, China’s import of Russian produce grew by 12.4% year-on-year. China’s automobiel export to Russia increased by 66.4%. New growth points for trade including the agricultural sector, service trade, and high-tech products continue to emerge. Meanwhile, China’s go gobal strategy is working well in Russia. Major strategic projects between the two are producing fruitful results. From January to October this year, Chin’s direct investment in Russia witnessed a year-on-year growth of 10.7%. A number of automobile manufacturing, e-commerce projects invested by Chinese companies has been successfully launchedin Russia .
