Johannesburg, 01 August 2020: South Africa’s EFC champion Dricus du Plessis has extended his partnership with South Africa’s largest online broker, CM Trading. Du Plessis has served as CM Trading’s official brand ambassador since 2019, coinciding with the company’s sponsorship of the sport.

Du Plessis, born in Hatfield, Pretoria, is a South African middleweight mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter and kickboxer. He is also a former EFC welterweight champion and has been an international KSW (Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki) competitor since 2017. In June 2013, du Plessis joined the national MMA organisation, EFC worldwide, and debuted in his first professional match against Tshikangu Makuebo, who he defeated by technical knockdown in the first round. Since then, he has risen through the ranks to become a fearless MMA fighter and EFC champion.
