CERATIZIT, a high-technology engineering group specialising in cutting tools and hard material solutions, and Multitrade Distributors, a tungsten carbide cutting tool supplier based in South Africa have officially partnered in order to better support the South African engineering and metalworking industries in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The partnership was finalised at a recent visit to The CERATIZIT Group headquarters in Germany, by Mark Lotter and Chris Labuschagne from Multitrade Distributors. The Multitrade representatives received technical product training from Osman Ucan and the technical and customer service staff of Ceratizit. They experienced a guided tour of the manufacturing facilities in Reutte, Austria, and Balzheim in Germany. They were also given a guided tour of the very impressive newly built 50,000 m² logistic centre. Both companies are looking forward to the collaboration which will definitely benefit the South African manufacturing industry.
