ALEXANDRA — A murder investigation in Alexandra is underway following a fatal shooting that occurred amid the looting of foreign national spaza shops. The deadly incident unfolded on the night of June 30, 2026, leaving one person dead and authorities searching for the shooter.
According to reports, the chaos erupted at approximately 20:00. Crowds were targeting foreign national-owned spaza shops situated between 8th and 9th Avenue when gunfire broke out, fatally wounding a single individual.
