A 41-year-old man was arrested in connection with stock theft following a joint operation in Kroonstad on Thursday.
Members of the Fezile Dabi District Economic Infrastructure Task Team apprehended the suspect and recovered two stolen Brahman cattle. The operation, which took place on 19 February 2026, led to the discovery of a Brahman cow and a calf.
The suspect is currently in custody and is expected to appear in the Kroonstad Magistrate’s Court soon to face charges of stock theft.
