On Sunday, 21 December 2025, members of the Provincial Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) arrested a suspect and seized illegal drugs in the Bloemfontein Central Business District.
Acting on intelligence-led information, officers apprehended a suspect allegedly dealing in drugs. A search of the identified premises uncovered illicit drugs, including Mandrax and Crystal Meth, with an estimated street value of R150,000. An undisclosed amount of cash, suspected to be proceeds of crime, was also discovered.
The suspect was arrested on charges of possession of drugs and dealing in drugs.
