All children under 12 receive a free Candylicious popcorn and slushy between 19h30 and 21h30 every evening.

Christmas Spectacular/Kersfees Skouspel – Tuesday, 16 December 2025

More than a dozen of South Africa’s top artists will take to the stage in a glamorous celebration of Christmas, in a concert that revives the festive spirit in true Boney M style. Lefra Productions brings Christmas Spectacular back to SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria on Reconciliation Day, Tuesday 16 December at 15h00, living up to its motto of “Lefra entertains South Africa” with a production that is as heartfelt as it is lavish.

The renowned Chanie Jonker is at the helm as musical director, with acclaimed theatre maker Frans Swart confidently in the director’s chair. Swart, recently honoured with The Star Award from the Roodepoort Theatre for three decades of work in theatre, is known for beloved productions such as Die Rypmaakkamer, My Vrou se Man se Vrou, Vlerksleep, Die Dood van die Founmannetjie and Helene Bester sings Nana Mouskouri.

This year’s Christmas Spectacular features the cream of South African vocal talent, including Alwyn Oberholster, Anna Davel, André Schwartz, Arina de Witt, Cordelia, Corlea Botha, Fatman (Johan Brummer), Leon Gropp, Louis Loock, Mari Bosman, Stephanie Baartman and Timothy Moloi, all sharing one stage. With a full orchestra and the Magaliesberg Children’s Choir conducted by Hannelie van Sittert, the show presents a rich tapestry of words, sound, colour, costumes and some of the most beautiful Christmas music ever written.

The production offers not only show-stopping performances and nostalgic Christmas hits, but also a deeply spiritual experience, making it the perfect start to the festive season.

New Year’s Eve Neon Bash – Wednesday, 31 December 2025

Forget the ball drop in New York. This New Year’s Eve, Time Square Pretoria is lighting up its own Neon Bash at the SunBet Arena. Expect Dr Victor & the Rasta Rebels live in concert, with DJ Dekstir and DJ Shawny B spinning sets all night long, making sure the energy never dips.

Come dressed in your brightest neon – think UV colours, glow sticks, anything that makes you shine, because this is a party that is all about colour, rhythm and letting go. Doors open at 20h00, and the celebration runs until 01h00.

The night is centred on high vibes, good music and safe, electrifying fun.

It is more than just a countdown, it is a glowing, unforgettable experience to welcome 2026 with style and soul.
