A Hino 500 (8-ton) truck, registration CXK 397 FS, was hijacked last Thursday night on the N1 just after the Grasmere Tollgate, heading toward Bloemfontein.
According to reports, the vehicle was stopped by suspects posing as police officers, who then robbed the driver and made off with the truck.
The last known tracker signal was picked up in Everton, before the suspects reportedly removed both the tracker and onboard cameras.
A R20,000 reward is being offered for any information that leads to the recovery of the vehicle.
