Gauteng Provincial Heads, Brigadier Levy Tsheko Lesego Mere and Brigadier Solang Dibakoane, together with Ekurhuleni Acting District Commissioner Brigadier Lebohang Machakela, led a multidisciplinary #OperationShanela 2 last night in Vosloorus, where multiple suspects were arrested for crimes that include driving while under the influence of alcohol, possession of an unlicensed firearm, dealing in drugs and illegal immigrants.
An unlicensed liquor outlet that is regarded as a generator of crime was closed down.
A vehicle reported stolen was recovered during the operation.
