A massive manhunt is underway for seven suspects after a 58-year-old man was attacked and robbed in his Wilgehof home on Monday afternoon. Parkweg police are investigating charges of house robbery and attempted murder.
The incident occurred on 15 September 2025, at approximately 2:40 PM. Police responded to a complaint on the scene, where they discovered the victim with a severe wound to the back of his head. Paramedics provided immediate medical attention and transported the man to a nearby hospital. Authorities have confirmed he is in a stable condition.
According to the police report, the attack was premeditated. The investigation alleges that two women initially approached the victim’s home and asked for water. After the man kindly provided them with water, they left the premises.
However, the two women returned a short time later, accompanied by a third woman and four male accomplices. The group of seven then forcibly entered the residence. They attacked the homeowner with a panga (a type of machete), inflicting the head wound, and bound his hands with an electrical cord. The suspects proceeded to ransack the property, stealing an undisclosed amount of household items and clothing before fleeing the scene.
As of now, no arrests have been made. The Parkweg police are urgently appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the three female and four male suspects.
