Korea and South Africa will unite in a cultural celebration at the 2025 Ubuntu with K-Culture Festival in the SunBet Arena at Time Square.
Experience a unique cultural collaboration as Korea meets South Africa at this year’s Korean Culture Festival, Ubuntu with K-Culture Festival, held in commemoration of the upcoming G20 Summit in South Africa.
This year’s festival brings together standout talent and dynamic performances that showcase the strength of cultural exchange. From the bold energy of K-pop to the rhythm of South African sound, it will highlight what happens when cultures connect.
Enjoy a powerful live performance by K-pop singer Ailee, known for her hit K-Drama soundtrack I Will Go to You Like the First Snow from Goblin, and don’t miss the globally renowned Ndlovu Youth Choir. Watch the K-Tigers’ taekwondo performance and witness Hanbok meet South African patterns on the runway in a fashion show like no other. A bold K-pop x Amapiano performance rounds off the line-up.
Presented by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of South Africa, the Korean Cultural Centre, and KOTRA, this festival is hosted under the G20 theme of Solidarity, Equality and Sustainability.
