NTT DATA, Inc., a global leader in digital business and technology services, announced today that its CEO, Abhijit Dubey, has joined the International Business Advocacy Caucus (IBAC) for the B20 South Africa. Dubey’s appointment aligns with South Africa’s historic role as the first-time host of the G20 in November 2025 – marking a pivotal moment in shaping the continent’s role in global economic leadership.
The G20 comprises the world’s largest economies collaborating to address global challenges like economic growth, sustainability, and climate change. The B20 serves as the official business engagement group to the G20, convening leaders from around the world to provide policy recommendations and innovative solutions. Within the B20, the IBAC is a distinguished group of senior global business leaders who provide strategic guidance, champion global collaboration, and amplify the business community’s voice in shaping global policy.
Under the theme “Inclusive Growth and Shared Prosperity through Global Cooperation,” the 2025 G20 and B20 agenda aims to elevate African perspectives, foster cross-border cooperation and support sustainable, inclusive development across the globe.
Dubey, who leads NTT DATA’s global operations across more than 50 countries, brings deep expertise in digital transformation, sustainability and inclusive innovation to the IBAC.
“It is an honour to join the IBAC at such a transformative moment for Africa and the global economy,” says Dubey. “The B20’s mission to drive inclusive growth and shared prosperity aligns closely with NTT DATA’s values. I look forward to contributing to this important dialogue and helping shape policies that foster innovation, equity and sustainable development across borders.”
Cas Coovadia, B20 Sherpa, welcomed the appointment: “We are delighted to have Abhijit Dubey join the IBAC. His leadership in digital innovation and global collaboration will be invaluable as we work to ensure that the B20’s recommendations reflect the realities and aspirations of both advanced and emerging economies. This is Africa’s moment to lead, and we are building a coalition of bold, visionary leaders to shape a more inclusive global economy.”
