Detectives from the Serious and Violent Crime Unit have opened an investigation into three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder following a deadly shooting in Lower Crossroads in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 02:00 on Hankomo Street, where two unidentified suspects approached a residence, posing as police officers. According to preliminary reports, the suspects claimed to be searching for something before opening fire on the occupants inside.
Tragically, three victims—two men aged 19 and 20, and a 20-year-old woman—were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel. A fourth victim, a 26-year-old woman, sustained gunshot wounds to her arms and was rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
Authorities have not yet established a motive for the attack, and the suspects remain at large.
