On Saturday, April 1, around 22H00 four suspects broke into a residence situated on a smallholding in Tarlton, Krugersdorp.
At that time, an elderly couple was inside the house. The suspects gained entry through a broken window and stole cell phones.
When the male victim wanted to alert police and neighbors, he cut his arm on broken glass. The female was not injured during the incident.
The police were alerted and investigating the incident.
The victim was taken to the hospital and received treatment for the injuries sustained during the attack.
