The Kleinvlei police station in Cape Town was targeted in a brazen attack late last night when unidentified gunmen opened fire on the building from a charcoal-colored Volkswagen Polo.

The incident occurred shortly before midnight, with the assailants fleeing the scene afterward. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, though the station sustained structural damage.

Authorities have transferred the case to the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI), which will oversee all further investigations. The DPCI’s communications office will handle all media inquiries regarding the incident.

Police have urged anyone with information to come forward as investigations continue.
