Two members of the South African Police Services have been shot dead in the Cliffdale area, West of Durban.
Reports from the scene are that a funeral was taking place when armed suspects shot and killed an adult female.
Whilst the SAPS were in attendance of the initial crime scene, armed men approached opening fire, killing two, before fleeing.
Emergency Care Practitioners from ALS Paramedics responded to the scene however due to the victims extensive injuries, unfortunately nothing could be done to assist them and they were declared dead on arrival of paramedics.
The South African Police Services are in attendance and will be conducting the necessary investigation accordingly.
