On Monday, 26 December 2016, Durban Search And Rescue were called out to premises in North Coast Road where an employee had fallen through the roof of a warehouse while replacing the waterproofing.
A 24 year old male was treated by paramedics.
It took emergency services a while to rescue him because of scaffolding and steel scrap in the warehouse but he was carried out and transported to hospital.
