On October 28, 2016 at about 03:15 the control center received a panic button from a property just off Driefontein Road, Muldersdrift.
The Iron Fist Squad was dispatched and on arrival the client told them that he was woken up by two unknown armed suspects in his bedroom.
One stuck the firearm to his head. He shouted “shoot me-shoot me” in the hope that his wife will wake up in the other bedroom. The suspects then took his wallet with a huge amount of cash, cell phone, laptop and flat screen TV before they fled.
Thank goodness they did not harm him or his wife.
They gained entry onto the property by cutting the fence and into the house by removing the burglar bars of a window.
Footprints however showed that three suspects were on the property.
They fled into the veld towards the waterworks and were long gone before the Iron Men arrived.
