Karel Katz (37) was found guilty and sentenced in the Douglas Regional Court for murder on Monday, 10 October 2016.
Katz was handed down 10 years imprisonment for the murder of his cousin Lucas Rooibaatjie (25) in Campbell earlier this year.
On 8 January 2016 the accused and the victim were in an argument regarding the removal and disposal of a rock in the garden. This led to the sad and fatal stabbing of Rooibaatjie.
Detective Constable Algene Son of Campbell SAPS Detective Unit, was lauded for a job well done.
