Last arguments to be heard in Cape Town teen’s murder case

African News Agency

Final arguments are expected to be heard in the Western Cape High Court on Thursday, in the case against Bradley Noble, accused of raping and murdering a 16-year-old girl.

On Tuesday, the defence closed its case after calling their final witness, Byron Jansen, who testified briefly about seeing the accused at the Kalk Bay train station about a week before Michaela Adriaanse went missing.

The Hanover Park teen had gone to Muizenberg beach with a group of school friends, but had walked off on her own apparently after an argument in March 2015. She was never seen alive again.

Her parents reported her missing on Thursday 19 March, 2015. The missing teenager’s body was found with extensive injuries three days later in the mountains above Kalk Bay.

Noble, 37, from Steenberg was arrested about a week later.

The teenager’s family said they were hoping for justice and want to see Noble sentenced to life behind bars.
