A multi-disciplinary driven operation led by the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation team, and Kimberley Crime Intelligence, resulted in an arrest of a 34-year-old suspect, for contravention of Drugs and drug trafficking Act no 140 of 1992.
The team opened an inquiry for investigation, and the suspect‘s movements were monitored as part of a project driven investigation.
Police observed numerous transactions of Tik valued at approximately R84 00-000 being purchased from the suspect.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Kimberley District court on Wednesday, 1 June 2022.
