A farm attack took place on Monday afternoon, 22 June 2020, in Worcester, in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Ben Hugo was overpowered by two attackers who assaulted him with a rock over the head and tied up. The attackers demanded the safe keys and robbed a 9 mm pistol, 2 shotguns, jewelry, alcohol and money.
The attackers then fled the scene in Hugo’s bakkie. The farm watch responded and a chase ensued during which the attackers opened fire on them and then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
There is no other information available at this stage. There were no arrests.
