A farm attack took place on Friday morning 19 april 2019, in Mamogalieskraal, Brits, in the North West province. A man (55) was attacked, overpowered and assaulted on the head with a brick. The man suffered a massive wound as a result, he was then tied up and the home was ransacked. At least one of the attackers was armed.
The man was only found and untied later on the day by family members. The attackers fled with a firearm, jewelry and cell phone. The man’s vehicle, a 2012, single cab Toyota bakkie was also robbed during the attack. A look out for the vehicle that is suspected to have gone in the direction of Oukasie was also circulated.
