Two suspects aged 30 and 40 are due to appear today in the Nkandla Magistrate’s Court facing a burglary charge. They were arrested on Tuesday night, 9 October 2018, after an intensive investigation by Nkandla detectives. Some of cash which was taken during burglary on the business premises was recovered from the suspects.
On 1 October 2018, two suspects broke into a business premises at Nkandla China Mall. The suspects allegedly took a large amount of cash, airtime vouchers as well as packets of cigarettes before fleeing the scene.
A case of burglary was opened at Nkandla police station for investigation. Detectives managed to trace the suspects through evidence on the crime scene.
