During the parliamentary constitutional review committee sitting in Rustenburg, one Kgomotso Khunou said that the blacks great grandparents owned the land in South Africa and no land was bought from their ancestors. Therefore only land owned by whites must be returned/ expropriated without compensation.
Political analysts say this is the reasoning of those who only hear what Julius Malema and Cyril Ramaphosa say regarding land ownership.
At the hearing there was a point of view here and there that demanded that land belonging to government should also be given to the citizens.
