A farm attack took place on 4 May 2018, at 20:00 in Mooibank, Potchefstroom in the North West.
Information is scarce at this point but it is reported that the victims arrived home to find that the power was off. When entering their home they were confronted and overpowered by two attackers. A scuffle ensued thereafter the attackers fled.
Back up was summoned and teams deployed to assist in the apprehension of the suspects. It was revealed after investigation that the attackers had moved through a canal close to the property.
One attacker is tall with a beard and the other was wearing an orange jacket and is of average build.
Details of injuries and what, if anything, was robbed is unknown at this stage.
The police are investigating and no one as yet has been arrested.
