At 18H06 Wednesday evening Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious pedestrian vehicle collision on the M13 east bound just before the Jan Hofmeyer off-ramp in Westville, Durban.
Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male believed to be in his twenties was struck down by a light motor vehicle that reportedly did not stop.
The pedestrian unfortunately sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.
All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.
