A 65 year old woman has been arrested and charged with dealing in dagga amounting to estimated street value of R192 000.
A suspect was arrested yesterday at Batlharos outside Kuruman shortly following an intelligent driven operation, led by the Crime Intelligence, K9 and Vispol.
Upon search and investigation of the premises of the suspect, plastic bags filled with dagga were found hidden inside and outside the house. The suspect is due to appear before the Mothibistad Magistrates’ Court soon.
In an unrelated incident, seven suspects were also arrested after being found in possession of drugs which include Crystalmeth and Cat, to the value of approximately R8 000. The suspects were arrested today after the house in which they are residing in was raided.
Among items that which were confiscated includes electrical items such as laptops, computer monitors, cellphones and sound speakers.
The suspects are expected to appear in the Kuruman Magistrates’ Court soon pending further police investigation.
