A woman of Limpopo was attacked and raped by two men at the restaurant where she is the manager, on Monday, October 5, 2015.
Col. Ronel Otto police spokesperson, said the incident happened at about 21:50 at De Stop-restaurant outside Mokopane (Potgietersrus).
The 55-year-old woman was attacked by two suspects who took her to a cottage outside the restaurant.
“One of the men went back to the bar, where he stole R2 000 and bottles of liquor, while the other suspect raped the woman,” she said. “They also stole a plasma TV and R1 000 in cash from the cottage before they fled.”
According to Otto the woman was alone on the way to the cottage when the incident occurred. Nobody has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A case of rape and robbery is investigated.
