A foiled cash-in-transit heist in Ogies, Mpumalanga, on February 18, 2015 led to the arrest of six armed robbers and the recovery of stolen money.
Members of the police’s tactical response team and the Mpumalanga Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation, also known as the Hawks, were nearby at the time after receiving prior information of the planned robbery.
A stolen vehicle, money, firearms and a network jammer were found on the scene.
