On Wednesday 8, around 19H00 Mr. Niels Erichsen was shot twice in his stomach by suspects who attempted to hijack his vehicle. The incident happened on his farm situated in the Rustenburg municipality.
Erichson stopped to lock the gate when suspects, who fled with his vehicle a Nissan Navara Single Cab, attacked him.
Erichson was taken to the hospital and being treated for gunshot wounds.
The police continued with the investigation and search for the missing vehicle.
The vehicle was recovered in Hekpoort but the suspects are still at large.
