On November 27, 2015 a British American Tobacco (BAT) vehicle was on brown street escorted by BAT/FSS officers in a marked Fidelity vehicle.
The BAT vehicle driver heard shots from behind him and drove to the police station.
Behind him the escort vehicle was forced to a stop and the driver shot though the neck and chest.
The crew was instructed to get out and go down on his knees and two shots were fired and hit him execution style in the head.
Both escort officers died on scene. Suspects took a rifle and left a 9mm in the car.
The BAT driver was not injured and no cigarettes taken.
Two vehicles were seen one being a white Isuzu with canopy no reg and a bantam bakkie ( unconfirmed) .
May the soul’s of the two Fidelity officers rest in peace.
