WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Residents in parts of the US’ Sun Belt states, which includes all southern US states from California to Florida, should take extra precautions as high temperatures are expected to increase this week, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Weather Prediction Center said on Tuesday.
