Two teens shot dead in a Florida nightclub
Security officer shot at a mall in Centurion.

The administration of the night club in the US state of Florida, where earlier on Monday there was a shooting at a teen event, posted an apology on its Facebook page.

“We are deeply sorry for all involved. We tried to give the teens WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS A SAFE PLACE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME. Ages 12-17. There was armed security as well as full security, inside and out. As the club was closing and parents were picking their children up, that’s when all this took place. There was nothing more we could of done az you see it was not kids at the party that did this despicable act. Our condolences to all parties involved,” the statement reads.

At least two people were killed and up to 17 others injured in an armed attack in the parking lot of Club Blu in Fort Myers. Police detained three suspects in connection with the shooting.

Update:

Police said the deadly nightclub shooting in Fort Myers, Florida, is not an act of terrorism and that 2 people aged 14 and 18 were killed during the shooting.
